I love having happy feet! Being able to get up in the morning and walk around the house without another thought is a gift some take for granted.  Also, to be able to run outside without shoes on is such a gift, one I certainly don't take for granted. And it wasn't always available to me.  All the pieces I talk about on my website; brain retraining, renewing my mind to the word of God, elevating my mood through laughter, praising God and redirecting my thoughts to that, along with somatic practices and self lymphatic massage all helped to get me to a place where I could walk around without shoes, or without supportive shoes and feel strength and control in my feet and throughout my body. 

Knowledge about my feet, and the bio-mechanics of movement throughout the body have been such a big part of this journey to my happy feet.

The class really isn't just about the feet, because the whole body works together, so we look at biomechanics of movement, but the feet initially inspired this class.

I love to share bio-mechanics; how the feet, hips, and back move together, to strengthen and mobilize as a unit.  With a continued focus on the autonomic nervous system to help your body.  I hosted my first Happy Feet Workshop in December 2022, and part 2 in March 2023 and I look forward to hosting more.  The recordings for both classes are available for purchase in the online store, see shop tab.

I have signed up to take Janet's "Happy Feet" class again because there was so much information i want a refresher and to learn more.  Janet provided different ways to move my body that helped my feet, knees, and hips feel better,  and helped my whole body feel more aligned.

The Happy Feet class was such a joy! It was a combination of somatic movement combined with so much knowledge about the way the body moves. She taught us tricks to improve movement, and really focus on which muscles are working in order to have fluid, healthy walking patterns. All her classes help to bring the body into Ventral Vagal presence, using self soothing and calming methods along with different somatic techniques. I can't wait for the next Happy Feet class!

Janet's Happy Feet class was so informative and helpful for my whole body. Learning to relax areas of my body while squatting and engaging rotations of body parts has been so calming to my nervous system. The class not only gives happy feet but a happy body too. Every class helps me learn how uniquely wonderfully creatively connected my body is.
