05-28-25 Live Somatics Class

Brief descritiption of what was completed in the class is below this paragraph.   In live recorded somatics classes, we spend time supporting our bodies, and nervous systems, caring for the amazing bodies we've been given.   We use light touch, movement, and breathing to stimulate the vagus nervous, and support the autonomic nervous system, to help it enter into ventral vagal state, parasympathetic, rest and digest.  These classes are for all levels and can be modified in position.  Please respect your body, and stay in your window of tolerance, which may be different on sides of your body, parts of your body, or different days. Pausing and breathing is a great option.  All classes start and end with scripture and usually a breath prayer, all people welcome.

 

05-28-25  Spinal rotation focus: Rotation of lower half, then upper half of body slow and steady, then PNF diagonals in sidelying (rotation through trunk), whole body breath standing/sitting, and unilateral whole body breath (same as sidelying but standing/sitting), skin of nose stretch up and down with breath. Curl in ball relax
