05-06-24 Live Somatics Class

Brief descritiption of what was completed in the class is below this paragraph.   In live recorded somatics classes, we spend time supporting our bodies, and nervous systems, caring for the amazing bodies we've been given.   We use light touch, movement, and breathing to stimulate the vagus nervous, and support the autonomic nervous system, to help it enter into ventral vagal state, parasympathetic, rest and digest.  These classes are for all levels and can be modified in position.  Please respect your body, and stay in your window of tolerance, which may be different on sides of your body, parts of your body, or different days. Pausing and breathing is a great option.  All classes start and end with scripture and usually a breath prayer, all people welcome.

 

05-06-24 Shoulder girdle focus: body patting, check shoulder girdle throughout session, shoulder girdle contract relax slowly with neck too, thoracic outlet skin stretch over collar bone with and without head turning, body sway freely, whole body breath
